Artist Statement

I believe it is acceptable to exist just to exist and that a person is still valuable without a purpose or societal implications. Through my work I explore self-expression specifically within spirituality and gender identity. I believe that our current economic, governmental, and sociological environment inhibits our quality of life. I challenge the ideas that stagnate our lives by creating environments and people that exist without gender, race, sexuality, or any societal labels. My work presents topics of nonbinary gender identities and human experience within or without gender. I am to experiment with different ways of living and expressing our identities.
